Zorbing with Sphere Mania

Feeling a bit mental? How about strapping yourself into a full body harness inside a Sphere and being chucked down a hill at up to 30mph. Welcome to the adrenaline fuelled world of Harness Sphereing. Harness Sphering not enough for you eh? Well give Aqua Sphereing a whirl - a completely different beast! You, some (very) close friends and 30-50 litres of water - a recipe for extreme entertainment. If you’ve ever wondered what it might be like inside a washing machine… well… you get the idea.

Pembrey Ski Centre

Have you ever gone skiing in the middle of summer while looking out to sea? Course you haven’t. So get a load of our 130m long floodlit dry ski slope for your skiing and boarding felicitation.

Ski and Snowboard lessons are an absolute steal at £6.50 for two hours including equipment hire! You can just turn up and book at the festival.

Horseriding

Horse walks into a bar. Barman says, “why the long face?”… Step out of the festival madness and trot around on a young stallion like you’re John Wayne or Nicole Kidman in Cold Mountain.

To take advantage of this activity you will need to pre-book your ride at the festival info tent. 1 hour treks are £20 and take place on the hour every hour from 11am-4pm on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the festival. Paddle Boarding (tbc)

Stand up paddle surfing (SUP), or Hoe he'enalu in the language of its Hawaiian heritage, is an emerging global sport that you can have fun with anywhere where there's some wet stuff from a really big paddling pool (okay, a pond) to the surfing lineups of the world.

Easy to grasp, this sport allows you to quickly become comfortable in the water and on your board. An expert team will be down on the beach to get you kitted out and splashing around in this exciting emerging sport In no time.

Just don’t use your paddle to pole axe your mate!

Power Kiting (tbc)

If you fancy a bit of a laugh but don’t want to do anything toooo crazy then powerkiting’s for you.

Simply enjoy the thrill of flying small foil kites; learn scudding (sliding along the beach on your feet) or start trying some jumps using the kite to boost you up in the air!

This course will give you the skills you need to start practicing in the park, use bigger kites and start learning to jump or get you ready to try kitesurfing. A top notch kiting crew will show you how it’s done, giving you the basics in kite control and then moving you onto the boards and buggies. You’ll soon be a kiting expert. Cross your fingers and hope for some wind!

Windsurfing (tbc)

Despite being a hilarious insult for any windsurfers you meet, the tag of "surfing's ginger haired cousin" is quite incorrect. One of the most popular water based activities and with good reason! There’s boundless fun in cruising on smooth flat water, boosting big jumps, riding waves or practicing your freestyle moves. Once you experience charging across the bay you really never will look back, as serious speed is what this adrenalin sport is all about.

An experienced posse of lads and ladies will be on hand to get you up and running on the land rigs, teaching you the art of sailing and then get you skimming across the water in no time.

You are sure to be hooked before the festival’s out!

Toboggan Run

Yes really – a toboggan run. Just for you. One of the biggest in Europe.

This course wraps up, down and all around the 130m dry ski slope complete with stunning views of the surrounding parkland. £2 per ride at the Pembrey Ski Centre!
