Tickets & Info - Getting There

When you book your BBL ticket you must choose a transport option to complete your booking. There are a bunch of different ways to get there so check out the below options to see what's best for you.

Train Shuttle

Every year we will be providing a shuttle bus from the local train station - Pembrey & Burry Port. The shuttle service is £8 and provides a shuttle service from the station to the campsite on Thursday 14th June and a similar service from the campsite to the station on Monday 18th June.

The shuttle service will be indicated on your e-ticket and give you access to the buses. They will be repeated at least every 30-40 minutes on both Thursday 14th and Monday 18th. You must have both your e-ticket and train ticket to get on the train shuttle bus.

Don't forget, getting the train may be the cheapest option if you book in advance. Below are examples of some awesome travel deals we found that won’t break the bank! Such as £15 return from Essex, £38 return from Leeds and £22.50 return from Bristol!

Park & Ride

The Park & Ride transport option is for those traveling to the festival by car, van, moped or tank! With secure parking including 24 hour CCTV and manned security throughout the duration of the festival. Park & Ride option is £10 and must be purchased by the driver and all passengers of the vehicle.

Bus times and carpark open and closing dates/time will be confirmed in this section later on so keep checking back the website for the latest information. Buses are included in the Park & Ride price. Please note you will not be allowed to return to your car once you have left the park & ride site so please make sure you take out everything you need for the festival from your car before getting on the shuttle coach to the festival.

National Coaches

Beach Break Live provides return coaches direct from your University. If you require a return coach simply choose the Uni you wish to depart from in the transport section of the booking page. Pick-up point locations will be available on the website nearer to the event. See Below for 2012 prices:

Lift Share with FestivalBUDi

The Lift Share scheme is a great way to find a lift (or offer a lift) to someone traveling your way. You will not only save yourself some money and be kind to our lovely planet but you will also have fun traveling with other festival goers and maybe even make some life-long friends along the way!

If you are seeking a lift or if you have to drive your car please try Beach Break Live FestivalBUDi. If you have spare seats in your car and if you’re driving an average sized petrol car, having four people in it will bring your CO2 emissions per person to less than travelling by train! So it really does make a difference if you fill up all the seats.

You do not need to own a car to register for Lift Share as you can either offer up a seat, or accept a lift with somebody else all the way to Beach Break 2012.
