Some Things You Might Want To Know
Is it a camping festival?
Yes!
Are camper vans allowed on site?
No.
Can I bring a massive tent with me?
Sorry guys, the biggest we allow is a 6 man tent. We have to be fair to your fellow campers!
What happens if it rains?
We all get wet…but in all seriousness we are wel prepared for acts of God here!
Also – there is plenty of space in the venues so there will always be a place that you can be in the warm and dry.
I’m a veggie – will I be catered for?
Yes – there will be loads of amazing food to suit everybody’s different dietary habits.
Will there be cash points at the event?
YES.
I have a questions about the Park & Ride, Shuttle Bus or Coach?
All the latest timings, locations and pick up points are up on the website under the Ticket Info & Prices tab.
What age do you have to be?
This is a strictly 18+ event
Why do I have to pay either Park & Ride, Shuttle Bus or Coach?
To help reduce environmental impact and disruption to the local area we encourage travel by train or coach or promote lift sharing if coming by car. By choosing in advance how you travel, we can get you into the festival as efficiently as possible. The charges for the different options are kept to a minimum, but are charged separately to be fairest to people travelling in the different ways.
Will there be disabled facilities at the event?
Yes. Please send an email to info@beachbreaklive.com and we'll get in touch to let you know what is available and to discuss with you your individual requirements.
Can I get a day pass?
Sorry, no. There are only full tickets available. Tickets admit you from Thursday 14th June to Monday 18th June. You will also not be allowed to leave the venue, this is to ensure that there is no increased and unnecessary traffic in and around the area and for the event's, and your, security. But why would you want to leave anyway?! Ticket holders that leave before Monday 20th June will have their wristbands removed and not be allowed re-entry to the site.
What is the deal with booze?
We run a cheap bar and serve award winning drinks and even have a bar selling cold tins of beer in the campsite... bare that in mind when lugging down your warm bevies!
Alcohol limits for 2012 are as follows.
• 24 cans of beer OR Cider (500ml max).
• OR 3 x Bottles of Cider (1L bottles Max)
• OR 1 x box of wine (3L Max)
• OR 1 x 70cl bottle of spirits in a SEALED plastic bottle.
Can of spirits or mixers are not allowed.
Sealed plastic bottles of spirits can be found during the summer in most large super markets, particularly ASDA.
Who do I contact about changing my ticket?
We deal with all ticket inquiries. Please ring 0845 331 3040
Why is there a booking fee?
In 2010 we have had to introduce a booking fee of £6 per customer. As you know, events and festivals have booking fees – often up to £10 per person. The booking fee does not go to the festival, it goes to the ticketing agency who manages the ticketing and bookings on our behalf and rest assured we have negotiated for this to be as low as possible for you. Festivals and events use a ticketing agency to give the ticket holder the right level of consumer protection and it covers the banking charges, administration and insurence of the event.
Deposits ... whats that all about?
Deposits are now £40, paying a deposit will secure you a ticket to Beach Break Live. You can only receive your ticket after paying your remaining balance. Deposits are non-refundable and your remaining balance must be paid in full by midnight May 1st 2012 to ensure a place at Beach Break Live 2012.
What does Subject to License mean?
All details of major events and festivals are subject to the relevant licenses being obtained and the necessary conditions being met. Normal statutory rights apply and any major amendments will result in ticket holders being offered full or part refunds on their tickets. A change in location does constitute a major amendment.
