Why is there a booking fee?
In 2010 we have had to introduce a booking fee of £5 per customer. As you know, events and festivals have booking fees – often up to £10 per person. The booking fee does not go to the festival, it goes to the ticketing agency who manages the ticketing and bookings on our behalf and rest assured we have negotiated for this to be as low as possible for you. Festivals and events use a ticketing agency to give the ticket holder the right level of consumer protection and it covers the banking charges and administration and therefore there are no additional charges for this.
What does Subject to License mean?
All details of major events and festivals are subject to the relevant licenses being obtained and the necessary conditions being met. Normal statutory rights apply and any major amendments will result in ticket holders being offered full or part refunds on their tickets. A change in location does constitute a major amendment.
Why do I have to pay either Park & Ride, Shuttle Bus or Coach?
We try to reduce local congestion onto the park as much as possible so we cannot allow festival goers to be drop off at the site. We need to ensure that we get all 17,500 of you get onto site as efficiently and safely as possible and therefore we will only be allowing Beach Break Vehicles on to or near the site. These facilities such as land hire, security, traffic management and the local police force cost money which is covered by the additional charge to your ticket. Our priority remains with minimising the environmental impact of the festival on the local area.
Will there be disabled facilities at the event?
Yes. Please send an email to info@beachbreaklive.com and we'll get in touch to let you know what is available and to discuss with you your individual requirements.
Can I get a day pass?
Sorry, no. There are only full tickets available. Tickets admit you from Monday 14th June/Tuesday 15th June to Friday 18th June. You will also not be allowed to leave the venue - unless previously arranged with BBL HQ. This is to ensure that there is no increased and unnecessary traffic in and around the area. But why would you want to leave anyway?! Ticket holders that leave before Friday 18th June will have their wristbands removed and not be allowed re-entry to the site.
