"For Students By Students"
‘eeeaaaar me now! The grins on the drenched chevvy chaces of those falling out of the Residential Care Home in 2009 is proof enough of its success. In this care home the old folk took you unawares into a fantastical disco dream land with some tune busting old gramophones playing all the classics, mash ups, disco, happy hip hop, ska, latino and dance in this, the funk stained twisted disco.
In 2009 the crème de la crème of student dance societies brought you a mash up of dance music from grimey dubstep to funky electro, pounding drum & bass to soulful reggae from Cardiff’s One Mission, Durham’s Subotica, and Exeter’s Beats & Bass to mention just a few.
With so many societies applying this year and only a limited number of sets available there is a lot of competition for places to play. To have a chance of hosting your own venue for a day and getting all your resident dj’s to play, go onto the website and sign your society up as a rep. The 3 societies who sell the most tickets through their rep groups will win an entire evening of programming. The venue will be a crazy old underground bunker which you will be able to pump tunes out of well into the night. Not only will you have an epic night of madness but you will also make some great money out of it! Bonus...
We also need you to send us an email with the following info below.
