What does the ticket include?
The bearer of a Beach Break Live with DELL ticket will be entitled to 3 days and nights of festivities from 15th to 17th of June. For no extra cost you can now arrive a day early (on Monday the 14th from 12:00) where some laid back beach frolicking and entertainments will ensue. The sad goodbye will occur on the morning of Friday 18th June
How to book a ticket?
To book your tickets you will need to select whether or not you are buying your tickets through a group - for example as part of a society, halls of residence or a personal group. If you are booking through a group select your university and then the group you are booking through. Alternatively go to their own group booking page at www.beachbreaklive.com/GROUPCODE (for example). If you are not booking through a group just select the 'book now' button.
Early Bird Tickets
These tickets are priced at £74 instead of the full priced £89 and include everything a normal priced ticket would. Sorry no deposits can be taken on these and as there are only a limited amount they will sell out very quickly!
Deposits
If cash flow is not in your favour do not fear! A £30 deposit will reserve you a ticket – simply fill in the booking form online and pay your £30.
To pay the remaining balance ring Ticket Line on 0844 888 4420
***If you paid before the 14th January then you can log back in any time up to 6 weeks before the event to pay off the remaining balance. Simples!
Booking Fee
In 2010 we have had to introduce a booking fee of £5 per customer (booking fee is different on non-student and local tickets.) As you know, events and festivals have booking fees – often up to £10 per person. The booking fee does not go to the festival, it goes to the ticketing agency who manages the ticketing and bookings on our behalf and rest assured we have negotiated for this to be as low as possible for you. Festivals and events use a ticketing agency to give the ticket holder the right level of consumer protection and it covers the banking charges and administration and therefore there are no additional charges for this.
PLEASE NOTE: You MUST be 18 years old or over and have proof of ID and University ID. Both forms of ID will be required in order to get your relevant wristband and entrance on arrival to the site.
GRADUATES
If you have graduated within the last 3 years then your student ID is still valid and you are able to purchase a student ticket. Please book via the group 'Graduates' or go to www.beachbreaklive.com/graduates or if you have a friend that is a rep, book through their relevant rep group/url.
If you have lost or no longer have your student ID then a photocopy of your award/qualification certificate or official university/UCAS letter will be accepted instead. You will also need to bring photo ID.
NO UNIVERSITY CARD OR NON STUDENT?
Non-Student tickets £109 (excluding travel and booking fee)
A limited number of non-student tickets are now available to purchase. You will have to pay the ticket price, plus travel, in full. The deposit option is not available on these tickets.
How to book non-student tickets
Either via the Beach Break Live website – click on the orange ‘Buy Tickets Here’ box on the left hand side of the page. Select your rep’s group and click on the red text box “Buy Non Student Tickets here”. If you are not buying through a specific rep group then click No Group No Worries Book Here OR
buy directly through www.ticketline.co.uk and just select the Beach Break Live 2010 (Pembrey Country Park) event and follow the relevant links from there.
Please note that the travel options remain the same for nonstudent tickets, there is no separate camping area for nonstudent ticketholders and all the venues, arenas and activities are available to nonstudents as usual. All T&C’s are the same for all BBL 2010 ticket types.
If you are a non student, it is vitally important that you buy a ‘Non Student Ticket’. You will not get your wristband and gain entrance to the event if you have a student priced ticket and are not a student/recent graduate.
If the base price of your ticket is not £109 then you have not selected the correct ticket type.
If you do not have any form of university ID but have a UCAS number/letter then please bring this along or send us an email – just click on the following link or click onto the Contact Us page of the website CLICK HERE
LOCAL TICKETS
As a thank you to residents living in the local area if you are a permanent resident within the Carmarthenshire postcode area of SA16 or have Kidwelly in your postal address then a LIMITED number of ‘local tickets’ are now available for you to purchase. You do not have to be a student to purchase one of these tickets however you must live within the area specified and you must bring a utility bill (within 3 months) with your name and address AND photo ID as proof of age. All local ticket bookings will be monitored thoroughly and any booking that does not match the specified area will be refunded. Local ticketholders who arrive for accreditation without a utility bill as proof of address as well as ID will not gain entry to the event.
How to book local tickets

TRAVEL
After you have selected how many tickets you would like to book you will need to select a travel option: Coach, Park and Ride or new for 2010 – a shuttle bus from the local train station (please click on the Prices tab for info on how much you should expect to pay for the various stuff and things).
COACH TRAVEL
UNBELIEVABLY, TRAVEL TO FESTIVALS CREATES UP TO 80% OF A FESTIVALS TOTAL CARBON EMISSIONS - IF WE ALL TRAVELED TO THE FESTIVAL BY COACH, WE WOULD PREVENT OVER 250 TONNES OF CARBON HITTING THE ATMOSPHERE – THAT’S THE EQUIVALENT OF US PLANTING A RAINFOREST THE SIZE OF 4 FOOTBALL PITCHES.
We strongly recommend coach travel and do our best to keep each seat as cheap as possible. For 2010 we have introduced more routes and changed our pricing so that closer universities are no longer subsidising universities that are further away. Firm but fair.
Please note that when booking coach travel all coaches will be departing on MONDAY 14th June (times TBC) to ensure that no-one misses a festy second when the main entertainment starts on Tuesday!
Please see the Prices tab for details on coach costs
PARK & RIDE
This year we are running a Park & Ride scheme to keep traffic impacts to a minimum – a facility which allows you to park your vehicle at a secured location near to the site, hop on a bus, get dropped off on site and then hop back on again when it’s time to go at the end of the festival. It keeps traffic impacts on the local area to a minimum, gives you more space to play at the festival, protects the beautiful park land and makes life easy for you.
The Park & Ride fee is £10 per person return and this can be selected and paid for when booking your ticket. The Park & Ride area will be patrolled by 24hr security from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave and will run on Monday and Tuesday and return journeys on the Friday. Park & Ride running times tbc – keep checking back for more details.
Please note: Cars will still not be accessible during the event, unless you are leaving for emergency or pre agreed reasons. So remember to bring everything with you! Full details about the arrival procedure will be sent to you prior to the event.
Please note that there is no parking around town.

TRAIN SHUTTLE BUS
This year those of you travelling by train can be picked up from the local train station - Pembrey & Bury Port, by our festival shuttle buses and dropped straight to site. On the last day you will be picked up on site and dropped back at the station. £6 return. Shuttle running times, station information and further details tbc – keep checking back.
Please note the train shuttle bus option is ONLY VALID for ticket holders that are travelling TO and FROM the festival by train. YOU WILL NEED TO SUPPLY A VALID TRAIN TICKET. I.e. you cannot be dropped off at the station by car and then take the train shuttle bus. This is to ensure that there is no un-necessary and increased traffic in the surrounding area. If you have mistakenly booked the train shuttle bus and are not arriving by train please log back into your booking as soon as you’re able, and select either PARK & RIDE (which includes your car parking,) or return COACH.
If you are a ‘local’ ticket holder (i.e. you live within a tbc postcode/area) please check back the website within the next month for details on your travel arrangements, as well as info on ‘local tickets’.
