BEACH SAFETY INFORMATION
A few words from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the charity that saves lives at sea...
RNLI lifeguards will be keeping you safe throughout the week so please stop by for a chat at the beach entrance and find out more about what we do. To ensure you have a great time at beach break we urge you to consider safety when you head to the beach. The main things you should remember are?.
· Always swim at a lifeguarded beach, between the red and yellow flags.
· Never use inflatables in strong winds or rough seas
· Be sun smart. Wear a hat, apply high factor sun cream (factor 30+), drink plenty of water and seek shade during the hottest part of the day
· Don't go in the water after drinking alcohol
· If you get into trouble, stick your hand in the air and shout for help.
· If you see someone else in trouble, tell a lifeguard or call 999 or 112 and ask for the coastguard.
